Her performance in the 6th season was the last time she appeared in 7th Heaven. Her performance was lauded in the role of Casey Jackson, a teenage girl from Ulee's Gold that brought her the attention of everyone. Actually, the film was awarded her the Best Supporting New Actress. Summer Catch, a comedy film that she appeared in was a testament to her talent as an actor. Her film Rules of Attraction did not be a huge success, despite her amazing performance. The horror film The Texas Chainshaw Massacre brought her to the attention of the public. She's also appeared in suspenseful films and has proven herself an actor.
